The First Dress

The First Dress is a long-lasting performance, around four hours, structured in three parts:

First Part: Dates
In a very long and baggy dress I begin to write, on the lower edge, my birth date and keep on writing the dates day by day until I get to the upper part of the dress, leaving without writing only the shoulder straps. The date's format is: 20/04/1960 - 21/04/1960 - 22/04/1960 - ...

Second Part: Cutting the dress
Once all dates are written on, I undress and the dress becomes a long strip of days while I can be seen nude.

Third Part: Reconstructing the dress
Once I finish cutting the dress I reconstruct it with pins wrapping up my body with the long cloth strip till it looks like a dress again, although a completely different one from the original.
